The momentous event began with the rendition of the pious shabad, followed by the welcome address of the Principal, Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria, motivating the participants to continuously strive for excellence. Further, the Head of the Social Science Department, Ms. Anju Budhiraja encouraged the enthusiastic participants to engage whole-heartedly in the most awaited event. The delegates of different countries debated on the pressing issue of ‘Racism, racial discrimination and related inter-tolerance’ and chose the topic of ‘Challenges of achieving racial equality in education, employment and housing’ for the moderated caucus. After the customary roll call, the general assembly began with GSL speeches, followed by moderated caucus, unmoderated caucus and ended with passing of Draft Resolution.
