Investiture Ceremony 2025

Mata Jai Kaur Public School held its Investiture Ceremony on 26 April 2025 to induct the newly appointed Prefectorial Board. The ceremony recognised the leadership potential in the students and assigned them responsibilities. The ceremony began with the pious rendition of a soulful Shabad followed by the welcome address which was delivered by the school Principal Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria. The Principal encouraged the student leaders to lead by example and foster a culture of teamwork in the school. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Pankaj Makkar, an alumnus of the 1998 batch  who is currently the Managing Director of Bertelsmann India Corporate Centre & Managing Partner, Bertelsmann India Investments. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the school Vice-Chairperson Ms. Rasna Singh.

A mesmerizing cultural dance performance ‘Aarohan – Ek Sankalp’ presented by the students depicted the exemplary life of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The vibrant dance presentation conveyed the message of continuing to persevere in attaining one’s dreams despite facing difficulties in life. The proud parents of the prefects along with the dignitaries pinned the badges to induct the student council. After taking the oath to pledge allegiance to the school, the students presented the school song ‘Shubh Karman Tey Kabhoo Na Taron’. The Head Girl, Harliv Kohli in her first speech pledged to discharge her duties with determination and encouraged the Prefectorial Board to collaborate together as a

d  his insights about his journey. He began by fondly recalling his school days and emphasizing the foundational role the institution played in shaping his character, values, and aspirations. He highlighted how the school’s ethos of discipline, hard work, and perseverance stayed with him throughout his academic and professional life. He emphasized the importance of leadership grounded in humility, responsibility, and service and inspired the students to perform to the best of their capabilities. The session concluded with a vote of thanks that was delivered by Arjun Bhatia, the newly appointed Head Boy who thanked the guests and the parents for making the occasion a memorable one by extending their support.
