













The Timeless Tapestry
Stories hold a special place in the hearts of people of all ages. Especially when these stories have been written by two of the most celebrated authors, Guru Rabindranath Tagore and Munshi Premchand, their allure is unparalleled. Bringing the magic alive, the budding bibliophiles of class-III put together their Annual Project show on Saturday, 19 July 2025.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Honourable Education Minister of Delhi, Shri Ashish Sood, as the Chief Guest, along with Guests of Honour—Mr. Dhirajdhar Gupta ji, and distinguished school alumnus Mr. Anuj Bansal and Ms. Harpreet Kaur Charya. Members of the Management Committee and the Parent-Teacher Association were also present. The Chairman and Vice Chairperson further blessed the occasion with their gracious presence.
Keeping up with the tradition, the programme commenced with Shabad rendition seeking divine blessings. The ceremonial lamp lighting ceremony saw students offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her grace, purity of mind and excellence in all their endeavors.The Principal, Mr Sandeep Kathuria welcomed the august gathering enunciating how stories shape the way we look at the world.
The ardent desire to grow up and relish the freedom of adulthood was best showcased by the innocent playwrights through their humorous adaptation of the story- The Big Little Man. The beauty of one’s motherland full of tranquility and serenity, titled Maitighar of Sikkim, was well portrayed in a vibrant dance performance by the dynamic troop. The audience grooved to the beats reminiscing sound memories of their homeland.
In the other dramatization, the dynamic students exhibited the significance of core values such as honesty, benevolence and purity of heart as crucial aspects of becoming a leader in the play titled Pareeksha. The take away highlighted that these values will hold importance across generations.
Sh. Ashish Sood ji, wholeheartedly appreciated the remarkable efforts the school is putting to instilling and nurturing the family ethos among young learners. He pointed that with advent of time, and advancement of technology, people have eventually drifted apart. Our endeavour, thus should be, towards building an education system that embeds core values. He reinstated the role of providing right platform to students for their well-rounded development.
Sir, highlighted that Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has envisioned a system that values aspirations, provides resources and augments experiential learning to the underprivileged. With regards to that the government has proposed around 22,000 smart classrooms, numerous ICT Labs, and Language labs to foster experiential learning. He also highlighted the crucial role of the regional language, as advocated in the NEP also, in enhancing children’s ability to articulate
well. He encouraged the parents to collate with the government in making this dream come true. In his closing remark, he congratulated the school management for maintaining such a sound and resourceful alumni database that acts as a building block between the school and students.
Mr. Bansal, reminiscing his school days commended the management for upholding the steadfast value system alive through their glorious history of over 50 years. Ms. Anuradha Babbar profoundly thanked everyone in her Vote of Thanks. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
