Workshop On Retirement Planning Conducted By CBSE

The faculty at Mata Jai Kaur Public School attended a workshop on Retirement Planning on Tuesday, 21 May 2024 in the school auditorium. The workshop was organised by CBSE and was conducted by resource persons from Max Financials. The aim of the workshop was to make the teachers aware about the importance of financial planning and the prospect of financial security in the future. The resource persons were Mr Utkarsh, the state head of Max Life Insurance  and Ms Ekta Saini, a versatile Category Management Professional with over 15 years of extensive experience across E-commerce, Supply Chain, Business Development, and Marketing employed with Max Financials.

The workshop was attended by the school principal, Mr Sandeep Singh Kathuria and the headmistress, Ms Anuradha Babbar. The interactive session expounded on the importance of financial independence after retirement for living a comfortable and dignified life. The resource persons elaborated on the features of the National Pension System launched by the government. The teachers were informed about the benefits that they could avail and the investment strategies that they could adopt. The teachers demonstrated their keen interest by asking insightful questions. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks.
