School Ethos
TEAMWORK
“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
We, at MJKPS aim to provide a comprehensive and holistic education for the students by instilling teamwork, as an indispensable skill. We come together like a family, guiding and nurturing our students to create a culture of shared responsibility. Constructive teamwork provides the opportunities for students to develop the competencies of resource allocation, time management, communication, collaboration and collective effort.
We focus both on the Curricular and the Co-curricular aspects so that our students observe and appreciate the bountiful world around them, thereby learning to be grateful for all that they have been blessed with. Throughout the year, collaborative teamwork for various school events like House Functions, Project Shows, Inter-School Events like ‘Expressions’, Morning Assemblies and Annual Day teaches responsibility, encourages ingenuity, deepens friendships and helps foster community building.
We are invested in the physical, mental and emotional well-being of our students and staff. Teachers and students, together, complement one another, share insights, propose new approaches, and challenge preconceived assumptions. They learn new perspectives, techniques and ethos by observing one another. The idea is to create group synergy, enhance the quality of teaching and learning and carry forward the legacy of values that is central to the core vision of the school.
The faculty, parent community and students consistently collaborate to create an atmosphere of positivity and strength. We have been able to foster trust amongst each other by communicating, cooperating and learning. We believe that students learn best from tasks that involve real social interactions. It is important that our children learn to function in a team environment so that they possess the requisite skills when they venture out of the protective bounds of the school to enter the workforce.
