Recognition Day 2025 was observed at Mata Jai Kaur Public School on Saturday ,19 April 2025 with deep pride and joy, as the achievements of students across academics and co-curricular fields were honoured with heartfelt admiration. The occasion, filled with warmth and meaning, served as a gentle reminder that effort, when nurtured with sincerity, always finds its moment to shine. It was a proud moment to honour students for their hard work, achievements, and growth throughout the school year. The event marked celebration of excellence in academics, leadership, and other talents, inspiring students to continue striving for success.
The morning began with a peaceful rendition of a pious Shabad, which created a calm and soulful start to the ceremony. As tradition calls, the lamp-lighting ceremony was conducted followed by a graceful Saraswati Vandana. A moment of pride was felt as the school welcomed Mr. Manu Jolly, a respected alumnus from the 1995 batch, as the Guest of Honour along with the vice chairperson of the school and other esteemed dignitaries. The presence of Mr Manu Jolly was received warmly by the school community, and his return after decades brought back the essence of connection between the past and present. The school Principal Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria in his welcome address praised the students not only for their academic excellence but also for their talents beyond the classroom—in music, sports, art, and performance. He reminded everyone that while the destination matters, so does the journey, and it is this very journey that must be cherished, for it shapes not only achievements but also character. A graceful yoga performance followed, and the stage came alive with gentle strength and stillness. The performance became a visual reminder of the harmony between body and mind, and the importance of health, patience, and discipline. During the felicitation ceremony the parents felt a sense of immense pride when they were invited on the stage to pin the prestigious badges to their wards.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Jolly, then addressed the audience with warmth and reflection. He spoke lovingly of his school years and how they had shaped his values, dreams, and the person he had become. He encouraged students to believe in themselves, to work hard, and to stay true to what they stand for. With heartfelt praise, he applauded the school for holding on to its core values, and for continuing to live by the motto: “Shubh Karman Tey Kabhu Na Taro. “As the ceremony came to its close, a gracious vote of thanks was delivered by Headmistress Mrs. Anuradha Babbar. It was a day where effort was honoured, journeys were remembered, and dreams were quietly encouraged to rise.
